ABOUT ME
I was (1964-P) born in Tsunan-machi, Niigata Japan, grew up in Niigata and spent my 30's to early 40's in Tokyo. I'm working as a product designer for over 30 years.
In 2009 I immigrated to the United States. I live in Wisconsin U.S.A. with my American wife and 3 children.
My wife and I wasn't expected having a child because of a late marriage and our age. (48 and 39) My wife was worried about a high risk pregnancy. After 3 years of marriage she got an unexpected pregnancy and we got our very first daughter. However, our daughter had a birth defect that her skull fused too soon. She had an open skull surgery when she was only 5 month.
My daughter and a boy I met at the Children's Hospital who was waiting for a bone marrow transplant "inspired me to create a character Eaglon. "
My son Mitch also inspired me to create Mitch.
I think I've been creating characters since I was a small boy. My parents used to work together hard (24/7) and I was a grandma's child...
I remember that I used to draw the people, vehicles, and heroes every day with pencils and crayons on the back of newspaper ads. Now I have my own family. I have been drawing for several years since I faced with my older daughter's open skull surgery and an encounter with a boy who had leukemia. I wanted to cheer them up eventually cheer all the kids (in the world) who have (or had) difficulty to live and fighting with their illness.. I didn't know how to express my desire for a long time. However, I found an electronic publishing that I've never thought to do. I have no experience in writing a book nor publishing but I started drawing with a computer , started drawing cels using the characters I drew and collected, and putting them together into a page. I can now write, draw, and publish books. (which is amazing) then I created an official homepage, a Facebook page, and posted it on youtube. I will continue to do drawing works that will eventually give courage to children all over the world.
